When I first showed up in the online space many years ago, I had no clue what I was doing. I tried to build a business on my own. I never paid for any training at all, I tried to build my business on HOPE not STRATEGY, and not only did I stay broke for the entire length of time the business existed, that business ultimately failed spectacularly well.

I learnt a great lesson in how to do business badly - I made so many mistakes right the way through. I see many other small business owners making the same mistakes every single day. And they don't always know they're making mistakes, or understand why their businesses aren't thriving.

In the many years since that first failed business, I've learnt how to do business well, and how to grow a business successfully without burning out. Without it becoming too overwhelming, without buying in to all the face gimmicks the so called 'gurus' try to sell you in order to earn a quick, easy buck. I've built my business on solid foundations - a business with a loyal audience who buy my products and services on repeat, who pay me month on month to access the expertise and knowledge I have. Who are happy to be part of my community, and want to stick around.
